May is almost over, and there are a ton of new comics this week for May 28, 2025. Let’s talk highlights, and then let’s talk lowlights. Just kidding, all comics are great!
Marvel looks to rewrite history and might solve a mystery as Ms. Marvel travels through time in Giant-Size X-Men #1. Meanwhile, the Predator stalks New York in Predator vs. Spider-Man #2. And Infinity Watch #5 wraps up the surprisingly fun series.
DC Comics kicks off Mr. Terrific: Year One, giving the character a new, definitive origin story. Batman #160 continues the blockbuster H2SH storyline. And Absolute Martian Manhunter #3 continues to deliver the most mind-bending comic book on the stands.
Ryan North and Derek Charm deliver a semi-sequel to their Eisner Award-nominated Shaxs’ Best Day with IDW’s Star Trek: Lore War – Shax’s Worst Day. Oni Press releases The Goddamn Tragedy #1, a new western from Chris Condon. And Image’s Mommy Blog form Marguerite Bennett is about a murderous housewife.
