If you’ve ever picked up anything from Marvel Comics, or read some of DC Comics’ most classic stories, you’ve interacted with the work of the artistic visionary, Jack Kirby. As the artist behind many fan-favorite heroes, Kirby’s influence on the industry cannot be overstated, and he’s finally getting the acknowledgment he deserves. In an upcoming documentary, Kirbyvision, Jack’s genius will at last be fully explored.

A Variety exclusive announced the documentary, Kirbyvision, which is set to follow the life of arguably the most groundbreaking, important comic artist of all time: Jack Kirby. Director Ricky Stern and Emmy-winning producers Dan and Josh Braun will join an incredible creative team to bring Kirby’s life to the screen at long last.

As the man behind iconic characters like Captain America, the X-Men, and more, Jack Kirby was directly responsible for many of the heroes and stories fans still love to this day. The upcoming Kirbyvision documentary promises to bring that legacy into the light at last.
