Fans will be surprised to know of a Batman game not made by Rocksteady that is more engaging than it has any right to be. Despite being a movie tie-in, the gameplay of Batman Begins was ahead of its time.
Stealth is where this game excels, allowing players to instill fear in the hearts of their opponents as players pick them off one by one. This made up for the by-the-numbers action combat and some cheap moments where the game clumsily added clips from the movie.

It helps that Batman’s moveset in combat is more expansive and impressive than ever before. Watching the Caped Crusader leap at enemies and smash them to bits is a huge part of what makes Arkham Knight so engaging to play.
